Fundraising ChairFall 2011- Spring 2012 FSHN Council Fundraising Committee, Honolulu, HI Coordinated fundraising events such as the annual Thanksgiving FSHN council bake sale which raised funds for professional development events for members. Recruited volunteers to bake items and staff day of sale, formulate recipes, purchase of ingredients, coordination of pre-sale of pies and rolls. Ambassador of AlohaFall 2007 Rotary Group Study Exchange 2007, Copenhagen, Denmark Completed five week vocational exchange, with public speaking 2-3 times per week at various rotary club meetings, and gave presentation at Copenhagen 2007 District Conference. I was one of four young professionals selected to represent Rotary District 500 and the State of Hawaii. In addition to our public speaking, we each made vocational visits to businesses related to our profession. I have uploaded a video recording of our final presentation at the Copenhagen 2007 District conference where we presented to 250 Danish Rotarians. Enjoy! |
